A: Suez Canal made the fastest route to the spices and goods of India for the Europeans cutting out the OE.
A: The Russians and the OE participated in the Crimean War.

A: Imperialism is the need to build an empire and spread your ideas with another nation such as the Europeans wanting to spread their ideas with undeveloped Muslims

A: it was yet another attempt to try and save the Ottoman Empire by reorganizing their whole government structure but as Mr. Gibbs said it was too little too late

A:The french who were led by Napoleon and the Brits. This was kind of the beginning of World War I. Both countries realized the geographical significance of Egypt and their many resources.

A: A backwards consumer market is a bad cycle that is basically corrupt. For example the egyptians had a ton of cotton and were great at growing it. then they started to sell and send it to england who because of the industrial revolution had a ton of textile mills. Here they could take that cotton and make it into the things that the egyptians were hand making, send it back to egypt and sell it for a cheaper price then the egyptians were selling their hand made goods. This made the people buy the cheaper goods and England received the profit.
